Product description

With the Snom A5E PoE injector, you can easily retrofit a Power over Ethernet (PoE) power supply – ideal wherever your network switch does not provide PoE or its PoE budget is insufficient. This eliminates the need for a separate power supply unit at the end device, keeping your workspace tidy.

Installation couldn’t be simpler: plug the incoming network cable into the input on the Snom A5E and connect the output to your Snom device using a second network cable (not included). As soon as the A5E is plugged into the socket, the connected device is supplied with the necessary power. Thanks to Gigabit Ethernet at 10/100/1000 Mbit/s, data is passed through without any loss of speed.

A handy feature: the A5E is designed as a mains adapter with an integrated pass-through socket. This means that no socket is lost during installation – adjacent devices such as a monitor or desk lamp can still be connected directly.

As the Snom A5E supplies power in accordance with IEEE 802.3af up to PoE Class 3, it is suitable for all Snom devices that draw their power via PoE – from IP desk phones and conference phones to hospitality phones and DECT base stations. The A5E is the successor to the Snom A5, which is no longer available.
