Référence interne: RS485-LS-EU868

The DRAGINO RS485-LS is an RS485 / UART to LoRaWAN converter for Internet of Things solutions. The user can connect an RS485 or UART sensor to the RS485-LS converter and configure the RS485-LS to regularly read sensor data and upload it to the IoT server via the LoRaWAN network.

RS485-LS can be connected to RS485 sensors, 3.3v/5v UART sensors or interrupt sensors. RS485-LS offers a 3.3 V output and a 5 V output for supplying external sensors. Both output voltages are controllable to minimise the overall power consumption of the system. RS485-LS is waterproof (IP67) and is powered by a solar cell + Li-on battery and is designed for long-term use over several years. RS485-LS runs with the LoRaWAN 1.0.3 standard in class A. It can achieve a large transmission range and can be easily integrated into LoRaWAN-compatible gateways and IoT servers.

For data uplink, RS485-LS sends user-defined commands to RS485 devices and receives the feedback message from the RS485 devices. RS485-LS processes this returned data according to the user-defined rules to obtain the final payload and upload it to the LoRaWAN server. For data downlink, RS485-LS runs in LoRaWAN Class A. When there are downlink commands from LoRaWAN server, RS485-LS forwards the commands from LoRaWAN server to RS485 devices. RS485-LS supports BLE configuration and wireless OTA update, which makes it easier for users to use.

Each RS485-LS is pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, these keys are registered with the LoRaWAN server and the connection is automatically established after switching on.
